KPMG Business Breakfasts in Atyrau, Almaty, and Astana
In late February and early March, KPMG professionals in Kazakhstan held a series of business breakfasts in Atyrau, Almaty, and Astana for the local business community.
The tax events were held on the 24th of February in Atyrau, where Legal Consultant Askhat Zhumashev spoke to the audience on opportunities and challenges related to customs processing. On February 28th, finance sector tax issues were presented by Partner Inna Alkhimova and Manager Tatyana Novikova in Almaty. Later on March 16th, Senior Manager Altynshash Zhussipova and Tatyana Novikova spoke in Almaty about legal and tax operations in the pharmaceutical sector in Kazakhstan; and on March 17th, Director Tatyana Rogachyova delivered a presentation on the application of transfer pricing in Astana.
On the 2nd and 7th of March, the KPMG Head of Consulting & Risk Consulting Saken Zhumashev and Manager Timur Akhmetov held business breakfasts on separate accounting in Almaty and Astana. KPMG experts discussed separate accounting implementation as part of management and accounting and tariff setting processes and gave an overview of current accounting trends. Additionally, KPMG held a business breakfast, hosted by Senior Manager Almira Shakiyeva, on the automation of the financial reporting consolidation process on March 2nd in Astana.

The KPMG business breakfasts were attended by over 150 representatives from various sectors of the economy.
