KPMG in Singapore has worked with Singapore Airlines (SIA) and Microsoft to develop first blockchain-based, frequent-flyer loyalty program – digital wallet KrisPay. With KrisPay, SIA's KrisFlyer members can instantly convert bonus miles into KrisPay tokens that can be spent with participating merchants to pay for services and products.
To help meet the requirements for the innovative KrisPay blockchain solution, the KPMGDigital Village team brought a wide range of experience in solutions architecture, application build and graphic design, and cyber security. “Our focus is on using blockchain technology to contribute real value to a client's enterprise,” said said Atif Zaim, Global Lead for KPMG Distributed Ledger Services.
