In the run up to New Year, The Ritz-Carlton, Almaty is launching a charity campaign called Make a Wish Come True, which allows anyone to fulfil the holiday season dream of a parentless child. This campaign is part of The Ritz-Carlton Community Footprints, a global social responsibility programme, one of the focuses of which is child welfare.
A Christmas tree with the wishes of children from an orphanage will be installed on the 30th floor of The Ritz-Carlton, Almaty from 1 to 28 December. Anyone who wants to share their care and warmth can choose one of the 25 wishes and make this exciting holiday season happier.
“In the run up to Christmas and New Year, every child is looking forward to miracles and magic. As part of our campaign, we are glad to offer a chance for guests of The Ritz-Carlton, Almaty to make holiday dreams come true for children staying at a temporary shelter and to feel part of the miracle. It is important to remember those who need our care and support; sometimes it is enough to make someone’s holiday season dream come true to give them hope and faith in miracles. We are confident that through our campaign kids will receive not only presents but also the love and warmth they lack the most,” said Katya Sowa, Director of Sales and Marketing at The Ritz-Carlton, Almaty.
The Community Footprints global programme is focused on three issues: child welfare, environmental responsibility and hunger and poverty relief. The idea of the corporate social responsibility programme is that through every charity initiative, The Ritz-Carlton, Almaty aims to bring about positive changes in people's lives.
“The Make a Wish Come True charity campaign in the run up to New Year is the perfect opportunity to share the holiday joy with those who need it most,” added Katya Sowa.
