Chingiz Kaskeyev

Chingiz Kaskeyev holds a position of the Corporate Affairs Director in Efes Kazakhstan from 2012. He has 15 years experience in the Government – at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (1993-2008), making his career from a desk officer to the Head of Directorate, including long-term assignments at the Delegation of Kazakhstan to the Organization for Security of Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and Kazakhstan’s Embassy in Madrid. He was one of the first Kazakhstan nationals to work in OSCE missions (1999-2001 in OSCE Presence in Albania).

He personally contributed to the successful implementation of the 2 external relations projects of Kazakhstan – creation of Conference on Interaction and Confidence in Asia (CICA) and Kazakhstan’s elections as a chair of OSCE – as the head of relevant divisions.

From 2008 Mr. Kaskeyev is in corporate affairs of the heaviest regulated industries i.e. tobacco and alcohol. Firstly, he joined British American Tobacco Kazakhstan, learning from the vast experience of the corporation in regulation and corporate affairs, as well as from his short assignment to BAT Caucasus (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia). He left BAT in 2012 from a position of Corporate Affairs Director for Kazakhstan and Central Asia.

Right after BAT Mr. Kaskeyev joined Efes Kazakhstan as a CORA Director, where he could use all his Governmental and corporate experience, having built the function from scratch, successfully implementing regulatory projects, reputational initiatives, carrying out external and internal communications in the company.

Mr. Kaskeyev has a Diploma of Moscow State University (international economics at the Institute of Afro-Asian Studies), Saint-Xavier University (Chicago, IL) as well as and 14 post-graduate certificates in diplomatic and business matters.
