Application process

To qualify for membership, companies must align with AmCham’s core values:

  • Free enterprise (privately owned; not state-owned)
  • Fair competition (no intellectual property violations, gray imports, etc.)
  • Rule of law (no ties to sanctioned parties or corrupt practices)
  1. Application

    Complete the online application form. The $360 application fee will be credited toward your first-year membership fee upon approval.

    $360 (non-refundable)
  2. Due Diligence

    Options:   • External Due Diligence (EDD) via the U.S. Department of Commerce   • Two references from existing AmCham members

    3–4 weeks
  3. Board Approval

    If due diligence is successful, the Board of Directors votes on the application.

    Less than 1 week
  4. Membership Activation

    Pay the annual membership fee upon approval. Membership becomes active once payment is received.
