Svetlana Ceban

Svetlana is a tax professional with more than 27 years of experience, including 7 years in the tax authorities and over 20 years with Big Four firms across multiple jurisdictions. Her international background includes 12 years in Kazakhstan, 7 years in Central and Eastern Europe, including Moldova, and 1 year in Southeast Asia.

Throughout her career, she has advised both international and Kazakhstan-based companies from a wide range of industries on tax matters, financial and tax reporting, and the improvement of tax accounting processes and internal controls. Her experience also includes drafting Tax Accounting Policies, supporting ERP and SAP implementation and localization, conducting tax reviews, and assisting clients during tax audits and tax dispute and appeal procedures in Kazakhstan.

Svetlana is a licensed economist and holds a Master’s degree in International Relations, as well as the ADIT (Advanced Diploma in International Taxation, UK). She is a Certified Professional Accountant in the Republic of Kazakhstan and a member of the Chamber of Tax Consultants of Kazakhstan.
