Yeldos Syzdykov

Yeldos Syzdykov is a Partner in the Tax & Legal Department of Deloitte DKU, where he leads the firm’s Business Tax and Transfer Pricing practices. With more than 16 years of experience in Deloitte, Yeldos brings deep expertise in tax consulting, international structuring, and transfer pricing across multiple industries.

He advises some of the largest companies in Kazakhstan and Central Asia on strategic tax planning, international taxation, M&A and due diligence, and the application of investment tax incentives. Yeldos has supported clients through major cross-border transactions and has represented them in complex tax disputes before the courts, helping to achieve favorable outcomes in high-stakes cases. Yeldos’s experience covers both financial and non-financial sectors, including banking, energy and resources, telecommunications, and consumer businesses.

As Chairperson of the AmCham Tax Committee, Yeldos actively contributes to improving the regional tax environment by facilitating dialogue between the business community and policymakers, sharing expertise, and promoting best international practices.

Yeldos graduated with distinction from Bauman Moscow State Technical University and earned a Master’s degree with distinction in Accounting, Finance, and Management from the University of Bristol (UK). He is also a CFA® charterholder (CFA Institute).
