AmCham Awards Gala 2025 Recognizes Excellence in Business and Community Impact

ASTANA, KAZAKHSTAN – November 22, 2025 – The American Chamber of Commerce in Kazakhstan (AmCham) successfully hosted the AmCham Awards Gala 2025 on November 21 at The St. Regis, Astana. The event brought together more than 250 guests, including senior executives of international and Kazakhstani companies, representatives of the Government of Kazakhstan, and members of the diplomatic corps.

This annual gala serves as an important platform for highlighting companies and individuals whose work contributes to a more competitive, innovative, and responsible business environment in Kazakhstan. The evening opened with remarks from U.S. Chargée d’Affaires Deborah Robinson, AmCham President and Chairperson of Citibank Kazakhstan Saule Zhakayeva, and AmCham Executive Director Jeff Erlich. They each emphasized the importance of cooperation, transparency, and shared commitment to improving the investment climate.

The ceremony began with a special recognition of AmCham Service Award to the AmCham Tax Committee Board, recognizing their exceptional leadership and contribution to policy advocacy over the past year. Through extensive analysis, constructive proposals, and active engagement with ministries, the Tax Committee has played a vital role in shaping policy discussions that directly impact Kazakhstan’s business environment.
