AmCham FMCG Committee Meeting – November 11, 2025

AmCham FMCG Committee Meeting – November 11, 2025

This week, the FMCG Committee, chaired by Chingiz Kaskeyev (Efes Kazakhstan), gathered together to review progress on priority issues and upcoming regulations. A special thanks to CCI Kazakhstan for hosting this quarterly meeting.

Members confirmed that Track & Trace will not extend to non-alcoholic beverages in 2026, while agreeing that it still remains a long-term priority and will prepare a letter to the Ministry of Finance to discuss compensation mechanisms, pilot projects, and inter-agency coordination.

Overall, the Committee identified four active working issues – Track & Trace, National Product Catalog, Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), and Localization – with coordinated advocacy actions underway.

Two additional topics, the Healthy Nutrition Concept and Legislative Amendments on Product Recall, remain on the watchlist for further monitoring.

AmCham Kazakhstan thanks all members for their continued collaboration in advancing a transparent, and balanced FMCG environment.
