AmCham Met with the Ministry of Finance on Tax Issues | March 2, 2026

AmCham Tax Committee members Yeldos Syzdykov, Damir Atchibayev, MSc, Igor Goncharov, and Ravil Blatov, together with AmCham team members Zhanel Suleimenova and Jeff Erlich, met with Minister of Finance ๐— ๐—ฎ๐—ฑ๐—ถ ๐—ง๐—ฎ๐—ธ๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐˜ƒ, Vice Minister ๐—ฌ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜‡๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—ป ๐—•๐—ถ๐—ฟ๐˜‡๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ผ๐˜ƒ, and Deputy Chairman of the State Revenue Committee ๐—ญ๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ถ๐—ฏ๐—ฒ๐—ธ ๐—ก๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐˜‡๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ผ๐˜ƒ to discuss key tax issues affecting the business community.

The discussion covered royalties, deductions related to transactions with SMEs, VAT issues affecting the healthcare sector, VAT refunds, excise policy, and Mutual Agreement Procedures (MAP). The exchange allowed both sides to review current approaches and identify areas where further technical dialogue with businesses will be important.
