AmCham Tax Committee members Yeldos Syzdykov, Damir Atchibayev, MSc, Igor Goncharov, and Ravil Blatov, together with AmCham team members Zhanel Suleimenova and Jeff Erlich, met with Minister of Finance ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ถ ๐ง๐ฎ๐ธ๐ถ๐ฒ๐, Vice Minister ๐ฌ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ป ๐๐ถ๐ฟ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ป๐ผ๐, and Deputy Chairman of the State Revenue Committee ๐ญ๐ต๐ฎ๐ป๐ถ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ธ ๐ก๐๐ฟ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ป๐ผ๐ to discuss key tax issues affecting the business community.
The discussion covered royalties, deductions related to transactions with SMEs, VAT issues affecting the healthcare sector, VAT refunds, excise policy, and Mutual Agreement Procedures (MAP). The exchange allowed both sides to review current approaches and identify areas where further technical dialogue with businesses will be important.
