AmCham Met with the Ministry of Finance on Tax Issues | March 2, 2026

AmCham Tax Committee members Yeldos Syzdykov, Damir Atchibayev, MSc, Igor Goncharov, and Ravil Blatov, together with AmCham team members Zhanel Suleimenova and Jeff Erlich, met with Minister of Finance 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗶 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗲𝘃, Vice Minister 𝗬𝗲𝗿𝘇𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝗶𝗿𝘇𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘃, and Deputy Chairman of the State Revenue Committee 𝗭𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗸 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘇𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘃 to discuss key tax issues affecting the business community.

The discussion covered royalties, deductions related to transactions with SMEs, VAT issues affecting the healthcare sector, VAT refunds, excise policy, and Mutual Agreement Procedures (MAP). The exchange allowed both sides to review current approaches and identify areas where further technical dialogue with businesses will be important.
