Andrei Yorsh
Andrei Yorsh is a partner at the Almaty office of Baker McKenzie.
He specializes in pharmaceuticals and healthcare, intellectual property, telecom and internet regulations (IMT), dispute resolution, corporate compliance and investigations. Andrei also has extensive experience in labor and migration law, corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and antitrust and competition matters.
Andrei has deep expertise in healthcare regulations, particularly in the localization of pharmaceutical manufacturing. He advises clients across Central Asia, the Caucasus, Moldova, and Mongolia on telecom industry regulations, internet platform compliance, privacy and data protection, intellectual property protection, and brand management.
He is an active member of several professional organizations, including:

Andrei graduated with honors from Belarusian State University and was admitted to legal practice in 1994. In 1997, he completed a postgraduate course at the same university. He is fluent in English, Russian, and Belarusian.
