Bakhytzhan Kadyrov

Kazakh and international companies turn to Bakhytzhan Kadyrov for advice on a range of corporate matters, including mergers, acquisitions, and tax. His client base spans industries and encompasses luxury hotel developers and mining and manufacturing companies. He has advised on a sale of a large confectionary company in Kazakhstan. Mr. Kadyrov has also provided counsel on complex Kazakh legal issues to a major Kazakhstan real estate developer.

The co-author of several publications about Kazakh tax and legal issues, Mr. Kadyrov speaks Russian and English. Before joining Morgan Lewis, he gained experience as an associate working in the corporate and tax practices of an international law firm, based in its Almaty, Kazakhstan, office. While there, he was seconded to the firm’s London office for three months. Prior to that, Mr. Kadyrov worked at a Big Four tax firm.

Mr. Kadyrov holds a J.D., With Honors from Adilet Higher Law School, Kazakhstan. He is consistently ranked in legal directories Chambers Global, Chambers Asia-Pacific and Legal 500 for a wide range of work including corporate, commercial, M&A, finance, capital markets, real estate and construction.
