AmCham Tax Committee Meets with Ministry of National Economy on SME Deduction Issues

Last Friday, AmCham’s Tax Committee met with the Ministry of National Economy to discuss SME deduction issues under the new Tax Code 

We appreciate the Ministry’s openness and the constructive dialogue demonstrated during the session held last Friday. 

The meeting brought together senior government officials, including: 
• Azamat Kemengerovich Amrin, First Deputy Minister of National Economy 
• Nurlybek Shaimakhanov, Director of the Department of Economic Industry Development 

Our members raised key concerns regarding SME deductions and shared practical alternatives based on international practice. The Ministry expressed readiness to continue the discussion and requested detailed proposals from the business community.
