Dias Asanov
Dias Asanov has served as Chief Executive Officer of Siemens in Kazakhstan and Central Asia since October 2021. Prior to this role, he worked at Siemens Russia as General Counsel (2016–2021) and Regional Compliance Officer (2012–2015).
In 2014–2015, he gained international experience at Siemens’ headquarters in Erlangen, Germany, where he was part of a project team responsible for the transfer of locomotive production from Munich to Sacramento, United States.
Dias Asanov currently serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director at Air Astana and is a member of the Board of EUROBAK. He graduated with honors from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2007 and previously earned a law degree from the Kazakh State Law University in 2003, graduating top of his class.

These technologies are increasingly critical for business growth and productivity and are highly relevant to AmCham members. Kazakhstan is also placing renewed emphasis on technology and artificial intelligence as part of its economic development agenda.
If elected to the AmCham Board, Dias Asanov aims to support collaboration in these strategic areas by contributing industry expertise, international experience, and practical know-how to advance shared business and advocacy priorities.
