AmCham CSR Network Relaunch | February 26, 2026

Last Thursday, AmCham Kazakhstan officially relaunched its CSR Network, now led by Zhanar Koshpanova Chevron as Chair and Tomas Akynov Eurasia Foundation of Central Asia as Co-Chair.

The meeting, held in hybrid format, marked a renewed focus on ESG priorities and joint volunteering initiatives for 2026, the International Year of Volunteering.

We are grateful to PwC Kazakhstan for hosting the meeting and for the insightful presentation delivered by Akbota Askanbay, FCCA and Vassiliy Kalabin.

The PwC team shared practical insights on the evolving ESG landscape, investor expectations, ESG ratings, and recent regulatory developments aligned with international standards.

In the second part of the meeting, members discussed opportunities for joint volunteering activities among AmCham companies. We agreed to establish a dedicated working group to begin developing concrete initiatives for 2026.
