AmCham Kazakhstan Launches Women’s Network

AmCham Kazakhstan Launches Women’s Network

The American Chamber of Commerce in Kazakhstan is proud to announce the launch of the AmCham Women’s Network, a new platform created to support women’s leadership, professional development, and meaningful connections across Kazakhstan’s business community.

At AmCham, we believe empowering women is both the right thing to do and smart business. Stronger female representation in leadership helps companies make better decisions, broaden perspectives, and strengthen long-term performance. Through this initiative, AmCham aims to create practical opportunities for mentorship, networking, visibility, and peer support for professionals across member companies.

We are especially pleased to launch the Network together with Girls 4 Girls Kazakhstan, our first strategic partner. Their successful mentorship model and leadership development experience will bring immediate value to our members. We are excited to work together to launch future AmCham and G4G mentorship cohorts and help create stronger pathways for emerging women leaders in Kazakhstan.

AmCham sincerely thanks U.S. Consul General Michelle Yerkin and her team for supporting this important launch and for recognizing the value of women’s leadership in business and society.

During the event, Dmitry Kozenkov, representing the AmCham Board of Directors, shared why this initiative is important for AmCham and highlighted Pfizer’s strong commitment to equity, inclusion, and developing talent.

We also extend our thanks to Margulan Ospanov from PepsiCo for facilitating an engaging and interactive session that brought participants together around practical challenges and collaborative solutions.

Special appreciation goes to Philip Morris Kazakhstan, and to Madina Anayatova, for generously hosting the launch event and supporting the creation of this new platform.

This launch is only the first step. Next stages will include establishing the leadership structure of the AmCham Women’s Network and opening recruitment for the first joint AmCham–Girls for Girls mentorship cohort.

We look forward to building a strong and lasting community that helps advance leadership opportunities for women across Kazakhstan’s business sector.
