11 May 2026, 14:06
Following the launch event, The American Chamber of Commerce in Kazakhstan, in partnership with Girls for Girls Kazakhstan, invites experienced professionals to join the first mentorship cohort under the AmCham Women’s Network. Learn more about the initiative and apply before May 28.
Young women in Kazakhstan today have the ambition, capability, and drive to lead – but often lack access to one critical resource: the right mentor.
Girls 4 Girls Kazakhstan is addressing this gap. Globally, there is a 54 million mentorship shortfall between men and women, and only 24% of women leaders report having had a formal mentor. The consequence is visible in leadership pipelines across industries.
We are inviting a select group of professionals to become mentors in our upcoming cohort.

Why mentors join:
Project Girls 4 Girls is a Harvard-born initiative working toward reaching 1 million women and girls by 2030. Our Kazakhstan chapter is building a high-caliber, locally relevant network of mentors and participants.
This is a practical, powerful way to create measurable impact.
If you are open to contributing, we would value your participation.
“She can’t be what she can’t see.” Your visibility and experience can change how someone defines what is possible.

P.S. Girls 4 Girls Kazakhstan exists because the numbers are stark. Globally, there is a 54 million mentorship gap between women and men. Only 24% of women leaders have had a formal mentor. The result? Women remain under-represented in top positions, and at the current rate, we won’t see gender equality in leadership for another 130 years.
