AmCham Kazakhstan Meets with U.S. Senator Steve Daines

AmCham Kazakhstan hosted a breakfast meeting with U.S. Senator Steve Daines during his visit to Kazakhstan. The discussion focused on opportunities and challenges for American businesses operating in the country, as well as trade, investment, energy, security, and supply chains.

The meeting was attended by Batyrzhan Serik, Adilkhan Kopabayev, Cécile Rauline, Jeff Erlich, and representatives of leading U.S. companies, including Apple, Caterpillar, and ExxonMobil.

AmCham Kazakhstan expressed its support for Senator Daines’s efforts to repeal the Jackson-Vanik amendment and establish permanent normal trade relations between Kazakhstan and the United States.
