AmCham Healthcare Committee Discusses New Registration Procedures for Medicines and Medical Devices

On August 31, 𝗔𝗺𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺 𝗞𝗮𝘇𝗮𝗸𝗵𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻, in partnership with the 𝗨.𝗦. 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲, hosted an information session on 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀.

The session brought together representatives of the healthcare industry and the National Center for Expertise of Medicines and Medical Devices to discuss recent changes to registration procedures, including accelerated pathways and practical aspects of the updated regulatory process.

We thank 𝗗𝗮𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗗𝗶𝗸𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗯𝗮𝗲𝘃, 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀, and his colleagues for sharing their expertise and addressing questions from AmCham members.

The discussion underscored the importance of clear, predictable, and efficient registration procedures in supporting timely access to medicines and medical technologies in Kazakhstan.
