AmCham and U.S. Commercial Service Discuss Kazakhstan’s AI Infrastructure Opportunities with Data Center Valley

On September 10, AmCham Kazakhstan and the 𝗨.𝗦. 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 hosted a webinar featuring the Data Center Valley Kazakhstan team to discuss Kazakhstan’s emerging opportunities in AI infrastructure and data center development in Ekibastuz, Pavlodar region.

Yerlan Minavar, 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿 at 𝗞𝗧-𝗧𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺, 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘆, presented the project’s vision, Kazakhstan’s advantages as a regional digital hub, and opportunities for tech companies, investors, and partners to develop advanced computing infrastructure. Participants also discussed the keys to large-scale data center projects, including power availability, connectivity, investment models, and potential areas for collaboration.
