Joel Benjamin

Joel Benjamin is the Managing Partner of Kinstellar Central Asia. He has more than three decades of legal experience advising international companies, financial institutions, and investors on complex transactions and strategic projects across Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and the wider region.

His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, banking and finance, and capital markets. He has worked across a broad range of industries, including oil and gas, mining, banking, telecommunications, media, and infrastructure, and is known for combining international experience with deep local market knowledge.

Joel is a member of the State Bar of California and is a registered legal adviser in the AIFC where he is a member of the AIFC legal services board. He holds a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School, and a B.A. in Economics from Cornell University.
