Aliya Karymsakova

Aliya Karymsakova is Senior Counsel at Chevron, where she provides legal support for Chevron operations in Eurasia. She has more than 25 years of experience in the energy industry. Her practice spans commercial contracting, major energy projects, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and strategic business initiatives. From 2023 to 2025, she served as Human Resources Manager for Chevron in Eurasia, leading talent-related initiatives across the region. Throughout her career, Aliya has worked extensively with business leaders, government authorities, joint venture partners, and industry stakeholders on various matters affecting Kazakhstan’s energy sector and investment environment.

Aliya recently assumed the role of Chair of the AmCham Kazakhstan Local Manufacturing Committee. In this capacity, she will work with committee members and stakeholders to promote constructive dialogue and advance initiatives that strengthen the manufacturing sector and overall competitiveness.
