Last week, ๐๐บ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐บ ๐๐ฆ๐ฅ ๐ก๐ฒ๐๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ธ and ๐ช๐ผ๐บ๐ฒ๐ปโ๐ ๐ก๐ฒ๐๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ธ hosted Ingrid Vanderveldt, M. Arch, MBA for a special discussion with members in Almaty.
An entrepreneur, investor, and founder of Empowering a Billion Women Worldwide (EBW), Ingrid shared insights from her international experience, including her work with Dell Technologies, where she helped launch global entrepreneurship initiatives and support high-growth businesses.
The conversation explored the distinction between CSR and ESG, how companies can build meaningful long-term impact strategies, and practical approaches to measuring the success of CSR projects. Members also had the opportunity to ask questions and exchange views on trends in community engagement and responsible business leadership.
We thank Ingrid for her time, openness, and genuine passion for Kazakhstan.
Special thanks to the U.S. Mission Kazakhstan for helping bring leading international experts to Kazakhstan and creating valuable opportunities for AmCham members to engage directly with them.
We also thank Global Development for generously hosting the event.
