AmCham Kazakhstan Business Delegation to Washington, D.C.

AmCham Kazakhstan led its first business delegation to Washington, D.C., bringing member companies together for a focused program on strengthening the U.S.-Kazakhstan business relationship.

On Capitol Hill, the delegation emphasized Kazakhstan’s importance for American business and advocated for the repeal of the Jackson-Vanik amendment, which prevents Kazakhstan from obtaining permanent normal trade relations with the United States.

The delegation also met with U.S. government agencies, development finance institutions, think tanks, and international partners to discuss concrete support for business, investment, and stronger bilateral economic ties.

The visit coincided with SelectUSA, which saw the largest-ever number of Kazakhstani participants and the first Kazakhstan-specific investor panel.
