We officially launched the AmCham Kazakhstan HR Committee with our kick-off meeting on April 6, hosted at the Philip Morris International Kazakhstan office

As a first step, members identified and prioritized key HR-related issues affecting companies in Kazakhstan:

💠Higher education diplomas vs. professional certifications for employment
💠Tax treatment of in-kind benefits
💠Calendar days for vacation at the contract
💠Intra-corporate transfers (ICT)
💠Regulation of rotational work schedules under the Labour Code (20–21 day cycles)

The discussion confirmed strong interest in building a practical, business-driven HR agenda and working closely together on common issues in the coming quarter.
