DFC Highlights $205 Billion Investment Capacity During AmCham Dinner in Astana

The U.S. International Development Finance Corporation is back!

DFC Chief Policy Officer Caroline Vik and her team told AmCham leaders over dinner June 10 at The St. Regis Astana that the agency’s investment cap in 2026 was recently tripled to $205 Billion, and they are actively seeking deals in connectivity, energy, infrastructure, healthcare, agriculture and of course critical minerals in Kazakhstan and throughout Central Asia. Our dinner followed last month’s meeting in Washington with other DFC colleagues, where our members learned how to better access this capital, and DFC learned about the many opportunities the leading companies in Kazakhstan can present.
