Healthcare Committee Prepares Consolidated Industry Proposals for Upcoming Government Meetings

On July 28, AmCham Kazakhstan’s Healthcare Committee met in a working meeting to align priorities for the upcoming dialogue with the Ministry of Healthcare and its subordinate organizations.

Members discussed VAT on medicines, access to innovative treatments, healthcare funding, pricing, orphan medicines, serialization data, localization and intellectual property protection. The Committee agreed that the industry’s position should be practical and solutions-oriented, recognizing the Government’s recent progress while combining clear policy recommendations with local examples of how innovative medicines and medical technologies improve patient outcomes.

Member companies aligned on the next steps and will prepare consolidated proposals.
