KIOGE at 30: From Major Oil and Gas Projects to New Energy Value Chains, Technologies and International Partnerships

From September 30 to October 2, 2026, Almaty will host the 30th Anniversary International Oil & Gas Conference and Exhibition, KIOGE 2026. For three decades, the event has served as one of the oil and gas industry’s key professional platforms, bringing together government authorities, national and international companies, operators of major projects, equipment manufacturers, technology providers and oilfield service companies.
In its anniversary year, the exhibition is expanding its international presence. KIOGE 2026 will bring together more than 500 companies from 30 countries: Austria, Azerbaijan, China, Germany, India, Italy, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Oman, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Türkiye, the UAE, the United Kingdom, the United States and Uzbekistan.
First-time exhibitors will include A&B Technology, ATV Kazakhstan, Terranova Kazakhstan, Temir Paint, Corrocoat Caspian, Maqsad Petroleum, MIS Kazakhstan, Chemelex, Beruseal Caspian, Regent KZ, Energoskan, Etus and other companies, further expanding the range of technologies, products and industry solutions presented at the event.
An important component of the exhibition will be the practice-oriented business programme in the conference hall of Pavilion 8. On September 30 and October 1, companies will present technological solutions, practical case studies, procurement programmes and opportunities for cooperation with the oil and gas sector. As part of the seminar programme, LMP Project Group CA will discuss the use of secure AI agents in EPC projects, KSP STEEL will present well productivity enhancement technologies, and Topan will address the intelligent optimisation of oil and gas processing operations. NCOC will provide information on procurement and supplier qualification, while WPC Energy will present the 26th WPC Energy Congress, to be held in Astana on June 11–15, 2028. KPO and Tengizchevroil will outline opportunities for domestic suppliers and current procurement priorities.
30th Anniversary KIOGE International Conference
The centrepiece of the professional agenda will be the 30th Anniversary KIOGE International Conference, to be held on September 30 – October 1 at The Ritz-Carlton, Almaty, under the overarching theme “From Megaprojects to Market Leadership: Kazakhstan in the Global Energy Mix.” The programme will focus on Kazakhstan’s strategic role in the changing architecture of the global energy market, the development of major projects, international cooperation and the adoption of new technologies.
Highlights of the anniversary conference will include a strategic dialogue involving ministers from Central Asian countries, a presentation of the National Energy Report, a special session featuring legends of the oil and gas industry, and meetings with executives of national companies and operating companies. Particular attention will be given to geological exploration, gas and petrochemicals, artificial intelligence, ESG, logistics and other areas of industry transformation.

The anniversary edition of KIOGE 2026 will combine an international exhibition, practical knowledge sharing and high-level strategic dialogue, creating a platform for discussing the prospects of the oil, gas and energy sector, presenting modern technologies, developing business ties and shaping new areas of international cooperation.
