| Brief Project Description: | At the University named after Satpayeva, we have created a space that opens the door to the Caterpillar world for students. An interactive whiteboard turns lectures into a lively dialogue, a computer with a printer and modern equipment make it possible to solve real engineering problems, and new tables and chairs create an atmosphere of teamwork. The tables feature compact but real parts from special equipment, and the walls feature paintings of legendary machines that inspire dreams of large—scale projects. This is not just an auditorium; it is a miniature training ground where future specialists take their first steps towards large—scale production. |
| Problem Statement: | In Kazakhstan (and in the region as a whole), graduates of technical and engineering specialties often face the fact that university equipment and teaching methods are outdated, and employers are looking for specialists who are ready to work with modern technologies. |
| Objectives: | The opening of the auditorium at Satpayev University is aimed at solving the problem of the lack of a modern, practice-oriented educational space and the gap between students' theoretical knowledge and the real requirements of the labor market. In Kazakhstan (and in the region as a whole), graduates of technical and engineering specialties often face the fact that university equipment and teaching methods are outdated, and employers are looking for specialists who are ready to work with modern technologies. |
| Key Results: | • During the first year, the audience was visited by more than 120 engineering students, of whom over 70% noted in the questionnaires that the equipment and format of classes helped them better understand the specifics of their future profession. |
| Key Activities: | the audience at the University named after Satpayeva has become a modern educational space where students gain practical skills in working with special equipment even before entering production. During the first year, the audience was visited by more than 120 engineering students, of whom over 70% noted in the questionnaires that the equipment and format of classes helped them better understand the specifics of their future profession. The beneficiaries, future engineers, note that the opportunity to work with an interactive whiteboard, specialized software, and real hardware components "makes learning alive" and "helps you feel like part of a team." Thus, the project not only improved the quality of staff training, but also strengthened the motivation of students to develop in the industry, providing a long-term talent pool for the company |
