AmCham Awards 2026

The American Chamber of Commerce in Kazakhstan opens nominations for the AmCham Awards 2026, honoring outstanding member companies and individuals that have made a measurable impact on business and society.

Winners will be announced at the AmCham Gala on November 14.

Award Categories:

Individual Awards

Executive of the Year

Recognizes a senior executive whose leadership has driven significant and sustainable business growth, strategic development, and/or organizational transformation.

Young Professional

Recognizes a rising star under the age of 35 who demonstrates exceptional promise, initiative, and impact in their field, and serves as a role model for the next generation.

Company Awards

Women’s Leadership

Awarded to an individual (any gender) who has led or implemented a project or initiative that resulted in measurable progress in promotion of women and girls and/or gender equality within the company, industry, or community.

Innovation

Honors a company that has successfully introduced a unique product, service, business process or technology with demonstrated impact on business performance, industry practices and/or enables the modernization of the Kazakhstani economy.

Health

Awarded for a project or initiative that has improved the physical or mental well-being of employees and/or made a meaningful impact on community health.

Safety

Recognizes excellence in introducing or maintaining effective systems or processes that ensure workplace safety and risk mitigation.

Environment

Recognizes a company for launching an impactful environmental initiative or adopting a new approach that demonstrates measurable sustainability outcomes.

Community Service

Celebrates a company’s contribution to community development through sustainable, replicable, and measurable initiatives valued by the communities they serve. Social investment, economic development, support to local companies, and effective engagement with communities are all relevant areas. Evidence of the community’s support of the initiative will strengthen a nomination.

Kazakh Culture

Acknowledges a company for its meaningful contribution to promoting or preserving Kazakh culture, among employees and/or in the wider community.

Kazakhstani Business

Honors a home-grown Kazakhstani business that has demonstrated strong performance, innovation, and/or successful regional or international expansion.

Non-jury awards

These special honors are awarded directly by AmCham, without a nomination process, to recognize outstanding contributions to our mission and community.

AmCham Service

Presented to an individual or organization for exceptional service and meaningful contributions to the AmCham community.

Public-Private Dialogue

Recognizes outstanding efforts to advance constructive dialogue and cooperation between the public and private sectors in Kazakhstan.

Key Dates:

July – Call for nominations
August 16 – Deadline for nominations
September 16 – Jury completes evaluation
October 16 – Winners announced at the Gala

Eligibility, criteria and selection

Nominees must be AmCham member companies or employees on October 16, 2026, in good standing
Self-nominations and third-party nominations are both accepted
There is no limit on the number of nominations, but a company or individual can win only one award
The application must be supported by the company’s senior leadership
Submissions should demonstrate significant and measurable success in the relevant category, during the period starting from January 1, 2025
Nominations should support AmCham’s values of free enterprise, fair competition and rule of law.
A jury comprised of respected leaders from the media, business and diplomatic communities will evaluate nominations, using SMART criteria:
Is the achievement specific? Is there an identifiable project, initiative or outcome
Is there convincing evidence of measurable results? What supporting documentation is provided? Are there reliable metrics?
Is it relevant to the category?
Did it occur in 2025-2026?
