Aliya Karymsakova, Senior Counsel at Chevron, has been appointed Chair of the AmCham Kazakhstan Local Manufacturing Committee

Aliya Karymsakova brings more than 25 years of experience in the energy industry, supporting Chevron operations in Eurasia across major energy projects, commercial contracting, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and strategic business initiatives.

Throughout her career, Aliya has worked closely with business leaders, government authorities, joint venture partners, and industry stakeholders on matters shaping Kazakhstan’s energy sector and investment environment. She also previously served as Human Resources Manager for Chevron in Eurasia, leading talent-related initiatives across the region.

As Chair of the Local Manufacturing Committee, Aliya will work with AmCham members and stakeholders to strengthen dialogue on manufacturing development, support practical solutions, and promote initiatives that enhance Kazakhstan’s competitiveness and investment potential.
