Participants identified several priority issues where business input will be valuable, including certification and country-of-origin requirements for locally produced goods, barriers to exporting products to regional markets, the need for stronger Central Asian market integration, limited economies of scale for production in smaller markets, and challenges in developing local supplier networks that meet international quality and compliance standards.

Members also discussed how AmChamโ€™s advocacy process can help convert business concerns into practical policy recommendations and structured engagement with relevant government stakeholders. Initial priorities were agreed, with follow-up working groups to be formed in the coming months.

Companies interested in shaping the Committeeโ€™s future agenda and contributing to these discussions are welcome to join upcoming meetings and working groups.

We sincerely thank IMBC for generously hosting the meeting and sharing valuable insights on their work to expand local production capacity.
