HR Committee Working Group Discusses Employment Documentation and HR Digitalization

HR Committee Working Group met in October to discuss simplifying employment documentation requirements and advancing digitalization in HR processes.

The discussion focused on the mandatory use of employment orders (prikazy), potential duplication of employment contracts, and opportunities to recognize companies’ internal electronic systems for HR documentation.

Participants explored ways to reduce administrative burdens while maintaining legal certainty and compliance with Kazakhstan’s labor legislation.

As a next step, the Working Group will prepare an Issue Brief outlining the key challenges and proposed solutions. The draft will be shared with HR Committee members for review and feedback before further engagement with relevant government authorities.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to review other HR-related regulatory issues and identify priorities for future working groups.
